Fatwa to Fuck with your Head

Taken from http://islam.tc/ask-imam/:

Q.I belong to a fairly moderate income group. Recently my eldest daughter attained the age of puberty. This development has placed me in agreat predicament. I was quite affected recently by a lecture I heard on the sins of intermingling of sexes. My daughter attends a public school whereshe is obviously involved in this. While it might appear to be easy to justremove her from school, I have to also consider her future. She definitelyrequires a career in order to make her financially self-sufficient in thesetimes of great economic strife. What should I do under these circumstances?

A.Almighty Allah Taála says in the Holy Qurãn 'And (women) stay in your homes and don't display yourselves like the practice of the first Jaahiliyya (pre-Islamic era)'. (Qurãn 33:33)
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, 'A woman is an object of concealment. When she comes out; the Shaitaan accompanies her'. (Mishkãt
)

The above quotations clearly indicate that the place of a woman is at home. When she emerges out of the house, she becomes the tool of the Shaitaan to spread mischief and corruption. In these modern times, there is a worldwide campaign on recognition of women's rights, according to the democratic ideology which includes equality between men and women in earning, rank and position. Such a position for women in society breathes corruption andmischief. And the ghastly consequences such a position has already caused are clear as day-light for all those of true intelligence.

The harms of giving your daughter 'secular education' under the existing conditions is greater than the benefits. It is not permissible to risk the honour of your daughter at the expense of securing her economic future.Looking at the dangers and harms in schools, even the greatest worldly need cannot justify the reason for sending your daughter to school.

The sustenance of every individual is the responsibility of Allãh: 'There is not a single creature on earth except that Allãh Taála has taken the responsibility of its sustenance'. (Qurãn 11:6)

*ends*

OHHH MYYYYY GAAAWWWWWWDDDD!!!!!!!! (...excuse me... I just spat out blood and bile and I must go clean it up....)

Okay, I'm back.

OHHHHHH MYYYYYYYY GGAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWD! (....excuse me again...)

This just helped me burn quite a good amount of my blood. Its helpful after eating a whole lot of fried chicken and fries you see. Keep these fatwas coming and I shall never have to exercise again.

Where the fuck do fucktards like this find the authority to lead other fucktards into the Dark Ages?

I think I just died from an intense state of rage.

Woah, hmm your blog is not the only thing that turned blue here :).

BP maybe you should check if the fatwa is real.

The translation is very lose and the previous verse mentions it very clerly that this is directed towards the wives of our Prophet (pbuh).

The Translation of Quran 33:32 AND 33:33 are:

033.032
YUSUFALI: O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complacent of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.
PICKTHAL: O ye wives of the Prophet! Ye are not like any other women. If ye keep your duty (to Allah), then be not soft of speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease aspire (to you), but utter customary speech.
SHAKIR: O wives of the Prophet! you are not like any other of the women; If you will be on your guard, then be not soft in (your) speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease yearn; and speak a good word.

033.033
YUSUFALI: And stay quietly in your houses, and make not a dazzling display, like that of the former Times of Ignorance; and establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.
PICKTHAL: And stay in your houses. Bedizen not yourselves with the bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance. Be regular in prayer, and pay the poor-due, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah's wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, O Folk of the Household, and cleanse you with a thorough cleansing.
SHAKIR: And stay in your houses and do not display your finery like the displaying of the ignorance of yore; and keep up prayer, and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! and to purify you a (thorough) purifying.

Seems a bit weird to reach the conclusion of the fatwa. Especially the whole women in parenthesis thing.

Any way...good to see you blogging again.

O

PS: Why do you bother replying to abusive language? Just delete the posts.

Hey Ujala, I’ve been meaning to check your blog for ages and I finally got to it a few days ago. I must say I was a bit amused reading this fatwa blog. It is needless to say that I disagree with the interpretation of this maulvi… And then… I read your take on it. Quite interesting! So I went back and re-read the excerpt all over again. Yes it was a misrepresentation, perhaps extremist in nature… possibly in a bid to misguide ignorant and “unenlightened” people. But honestly speaking… I didn’t see or detect any underlying use of derogatory language which usually accompanies texts of these “zealots”.
I do think you’re an intelligent person who is not easily swayed by sensational sentimentality; who does understand the minute difference between enlightenment and verbose theatrics which these zealots are so enamored with. But here, I honestly detect the exact opposite and as a consequence the crux of the matter …which is NOT derogatory language but a very important issue like Role of Women in a modern Islamic Society, is totally and utterly ignored. So instead of having a healthy discourse, all of us… including you, are forced into talking about mere triflings.

I totally agree with Ann. You should first watch your languauge and yourself before criticising others. The way you " shared your reaction with others" as this Mr Arfiman said shows how much respectable and decent family have u come from where nobody has taught you manners. You people are a shame to the muslim community ...

@rant&raves:

Thanks for visiting my blog after so long! :)

I actually didn't want a healthy discourse on this fatwa because this bastard leaves no room for any arguement ... he's too far gone to reason with.

All I wanted was to draw attention to this and then say what I feel about it.

And as I said, I felt I had just died from an intense state of rage.

May HellFires burn hot and high for these "torchbearers" of Islam.

Huhhh and what do you think you will be taken to Heaven by angels hahah You will be the first one to visit the Hell . I wish your parents had taught you some manners ....
No more comments. Truth is always bitter and you should have the courage to face the truth and criticism. When you have the right to criticize others , others have the right too.

That's the point anonymous(s) ... it don't matter if you're one person, or one million. Without a face and without a name, your opinion is worth nothing.
